Why I developed this program

Life called me to a halt twice

Twenty-five years ago, I started out as a classically trained physician, but two life-changing events (a car accident and burnout) brought me to a halt. Those crucial moments are still vividly etched in my memory: the shock, the pain, the confusion.

A new perspective on (holistic) health and healing

My health, mental well-being, and recovery made me realize that a fundamental change was needed. Not only for my health, but also for that of all my patients. It led me to a new form of medicine and ultimately to recovery.

Need for a new way of caring

I also realized that, despite all my good intentions to help my patients in a 10-minute consultation, half an hour or even an hour could only make a minimal difference. This led to my one-day, weekend, and week-long retreats.

Today, after having treated more than 10,000 patients, 25 years of specialization in holistic medicine, and writing three books, I am taking the next step in realizing my mission: to use all my knowledge, vision, and experience to help anyone struggling with chronic conditions and seeking lasting recovery, healing, well-being, self-care, and meaning.

Are there only online classes?

You can choose. Do you learn and process best on your own and at your own pace? Then go for the Self-study package. However, if you prefer personal contact with the group and Dr. Jutta and would like to meet in person, choose the group program supervised by Dr. Jutta. There you will enjoy an ideal mix of learning, doing, exchanging, connecting, and integrating. 
Do you need medical knowledge to participate?

No, not at all. Everything is explained at a leisurely pace, in plain language, with numerous examples. There are also two Q&A sessions to answer the most frequently asked questions.
Can I schedule a consultation with Dr. Jutta after the program?

Yes, this is possible in exceptional cases and on a one-time basis, if necessary.

As a parent, can I also use this for my child?

How long will the videos remain online?

You can watch the videos as often as you like within the term of your package.
Can my partner/family member occasionally observe during the sessions?

No. Just as the doctor-patient relationship is based on trust, we want to create a safe and intimate atmosphere with the community of participants. It is possible that you or another participant may share personal details about their life or health during a session. That is why we want the community to form a stable and trusted group of like-minded people throughout the entire process. Occasionally allowing people who are not part of the core group to participate would disrupt that trust. Of course, you are welcome to share the knowledge you have gained with your children, partner, friends, and family.
Why are the yoga sessions necessary in the program?

We are often asked what the purpose of yoga is in this program. For Dr. Jutta, it is the "feeling" part that always bridges the gap between understanding and behavior. It is a necessary step toward integrating the knowledge you will gain throughout this program and mastering your body and well-being.
Do you need yoga experience to participate?

We get that question a lot. No. The basic principle of Dr. Jutta's Easy and Gentle yoga is that it is accessible, gentle, and calm. Everyone is welcome, young, old, stiff, flexible. No prior knowledge or experience is required to join. Dr. Jutta's goal is to let everyone experience the beneficial effects of yoga. Anyone can do it.
I have medical issues. Can I participate in the yoga session?

People with (vague) complaints relating to their back, neck, shoulders, knees, etc. are also welcome. Tired, burnt-out, and tense people can participate in a safe manner. Dr. Borms enjoys providing customized exercises. Her approach is unique and tailored to each yogi. Sometimes workshops will be organized specifically for certain complaints (respiratory tract, shoulders, back, etc.).

I am a doctor/healthcare specialist and would like to take a course in holistic medicine. Is this something for me?

This program is intended for non-medical professionals. However, if you are completely new to holistic medicine, this could be a good place to start. Dr. Jutta plans to organize a course specifically for doctors in the future. If you are interested, please let us know or follow our Instagram page for updates.
How much better will I feel after the program?

No, that is not necessary. The program does not replace a medical consultation. During the seven modules of the program, important topics that affect well-being and health are discussed. It will give you insight into possible causes of imbalance or reduced quality of life. After the program, you will be able to take more conscious steps toward recovery and make choices that are most beneficial to your health, well-being, and recovery.

At the start of the program, all participants are asked to agree to a privacy statement. This statement asks you to take responsibility for all sensitive information that you or others share in the chat, integration day, or Q&A sessions during and after the program.
